The white racist guide to reporting crime trends

“For best results, follow these simple steps:

1. Pick a crime trend – or make one up! Consider only street crimes. Crimes against humanity by America or its allies, crimes by Wall Street bankers, American corporations or middle-class white people over the age of 21 do not count. Crimes by white men do not a trend make.

◦ A drop in black crime: This can count as a trend but only if you can credit the actions of white people for it, like 'stop and frisk' or 'The War on Drugs'. Whatever you do, never credit 'black culture', 'black leaders' or 'black parenting' for it! They can only be blamed, never praised. That is like a rule of White American culture.”

Funny - for all his "reporting" - Glenn "Get Yer Guns" Reynolds keeps missing when (and how) it happens, too. But, even with such a glaring oversight - and this ugly trend he contributes to - everyone still wonders (and bugs me about) why I don't listen to his harassing garbage.

Regarding Drudge and The Knockout Game, I told you guys, you're too easily led:

"A column on Slate.com reports that while the game does exist, there is no hard data to support the notion that it is a growing trend that has reached epidemic levels. It also refutes the suggestion by some news organizations that some of the attacks have been racially motivated.

The Slate piece makes reference to another piece on the patheos.com website that says, 'Nobody seems to have any evidence that it's spreading, or that it's new, or that it's racially motivated.'

The piece continues, 'Most sources claim that it is spreading, and a number of sources claim that it is racially motivated. But how do they know? Where are they getting their data from?' 

 Um, a silly (but crafty) fedora-wearing dude, who's into chain-yanking "whitey" waaay more than disseminating news? (Like that word? "Disseminating." Yep, that's a three billion dollar word, right there. "He's so well-spoken,...") Matt Drudge is an instigator. 

The Drudge Report stirs up trouble, at the expense of both blacks and whites, but knowing full-well blacks can least afford it - and, generally, blacks don't read it.

Run by America's current genius of journalism, proving what that's always meant at it's best,... 

Reading/thinking. Thinking/reading - it's nothing but trouble:

My, my - let me tell you what crossed my mind:

Since I know ever more realistic (and, thus, ever more horrifying) images of America are coming - so it's going to get really, really dark out there - can we just cut to the chase and agree that calling history "black," early on, was the right thing to do?

 

Watching how the world warps and sags around him, Barack Obama's not coming off too badly as president now, in my CrackdeBlackstimation. But still - when it comes to presidential style - so far, I've preferred the "Earthy" guys. Give me your George Ws or Lyndon Johnsons:

My reasoning? Simple - same as any white guy's:

Speaking of things I understand, conservatives get how ObamaCare's playing, all wrong.

They live in a world of media hype.

Like every other "scandal" the Right has had on Obama lately (Benghazi?) it's a, manufactured, mountain out of a molehill.

They're talking about a website - an insurance website at that.

Isn't the point, as most see it, that a lot of people never even had insurance before?

Then doesn't it figure, in the real world - which is almost everywhere but in the media - nobody will really care about this topic until they themselves get hurt?

Here, further, let me play Karl Rove and explain the psychology of entitlements - especially, especially massive ones:

People will wait, to get the website right, as long as the Dems care (and/or appear to) for those who can't.

The other party - my party - that insists on looking and acting like it's filled with stupid white racists, who want women in the kitchen and everybody in church, has nothing to compete.

But Chris Christie.

Add Scott Walker to the ticket (if he realizes what a lack of charisma he has and takes the veep spot before, foolishly, deciding to challenge) and we're "in".

Otherwise, forgetaboutit.

I do like watching the Right, going nuts over nothing, though - they look great on TV.

But then, so do cheerleaders in an empty stadium,...

Um, Troop, you're right, I didn't mess with The Knockout Game. But not because it's too hot a topic for TMR readers or I to handle, but because: 

A) Being over 10 years old even to the mainstream press (The Knockout Game's much older in the black population - a fact no one's upset about going unreported) as "news" The Knockout Game's shock value is pretty low in my neck of the woods. 

B) I'm more-than-aware of Drudge's desperate search for racial dog whistles.

And C) Dancing to Drudge's tune - or watching others do so - is boring.

If you wish to pretend my actions are really because I'm a hypocrite who "can't handle the truth," so be it.

By now, I know, arguing with you is pointless,....

Yes, Richard Cohen, a journalist and columnist for nearly half a century, a college-educated, award-winning commentator, thought slavery was not such a bad thing until he saw a movie about it in 2013. Richard Cohen admits, in a major American newspaper, that until this month, he believed an archaic, widely discredited “Lost Cause” white supremacist myth. And in his nearly 70 years of literacy, he has not seen or heard or read anything to challenge that myth until he saw a Hollywood film on the subject. This is ignorance on a staggering scale. That paragraph should only preface a retirement announcement. “I am a deeply ignorant and cloistered old man,” should be the next sentence, “and no one should pay me for my views and opinions, because they are worthless.”

The other political operatives - manipulating and exploiting their viewers - are keeping their mouths shut:

    “The most important thing to every person is the truth and today the truth is we made a mistake. That’s very disappointing for any journalist.

Nobody likes to admit that they made a mistake, but if you do, you have to stand up and take responsibility and you have to say that you were wrong. And in this case we were wrong.”
