Being a dog, Brian was safe for showing weirdness others tolerate as white's "normal" uptight behavior. 

If he wasn't rubbing color in our faces to make one kind of point, he was pulling a Shouting Thomas and over-compensating to make another - both indicating how uncomfortable he was with himself.

He made sure everybody knew he was politically correct.

But the truth was - with all his betrayals of himself and others - he's what most fondly call "being human" in the NewAge.

I hope they bring him back....

Maybe - if we tone down the rhetoric - then, together, we can once again re-establish that "common ground" we used to have, regarding the issue of race, in America. I'll go first:

The most serious offense Sampson has ever been found to have committed throughout all these stops was low-level marijuana possession. He has even been stopped dozens of times by cops for 'trespassing' in the store where he works."

Conservatives can't keep their story straight:

After someone is hurt by blacks in The Knockout Game, they become desperately concerned about the remaining impact on the white victim's lives.

But, after centuries of being brutally "knocked out" of white society's embrace, those same conservatives insist this treatment had no effect on the black victims' lives they must concern themselves with.

In comparison to North American and Caribbean slave narratives, the North African slave narratives were written by white Europeans and Americans captured and enslaved in North Africa in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Some captives used their experiences as a North African slave to criticize slavery in the United States, such as William Ray in his book Horrors of Slavery. Slaves in North African suffered from many of the same conditions as their African counterparts in the United States, including hard labor, poor diet, and demeaning treatment. But, unlike those in America, slaves in North Africa could often escape their condition by converting to Islam and adopting North Africa as their home.
